The Government yesterday discussed the 2023-2026 energy plans, amidst the ongoing economic crisis.
Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera along with State Minister D.V. Chanaka met with the industry stakeholders of the power and energy industries at the Ministry premises yesterday.
“During the meeting, talks were centred around the 2023-2026 renewable energy plan, tariff rates, projects in the pipeline, dues owed to renewable energy suppliers, financial and technical requirements,” Minister Wijesekera said via Twitter.
Six renewable energy associations, officials of the Ceylon Electricity Board and the Sustainable Energy Authority participated in the discussion.
