Constituent parties of the Government are scheduled to hold another round of discussions today on the way forward of the country.
The discussion will focus on proposals by the relevant parties to improve the socio-economy of the country.
Majority of the proposals include matters related to resolving the most current problems such as the foreign exchange crisis, energy crisis, and the rising cost of living.
Following the meeting, the proposals are due to be handed over to the Government by early next month.
Despite the speculations, the Government this week denied claims on dissolving Parliament in March.
The parties of the Sri Lanka Podujana Petaluma (SLPP) coalition include; Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Lanka Sama Samaja Party (LSSP), Democratic Left Front (DLF), Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU), National Freedom Front (NFF), Communist Party of Sri Lanka (CPSL), National Congress, Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP) and Our Power of People Party (OPPP).
