Govt.-Fortress Energy deal to be tabled in Parliament

Minister of Power Udaya Gammanpila will table a copy of the agreement which the Government has signed with New Fortress Energy Ltd. in Parliament as soon as possible.

Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardene confirmed the move in response to a request by UNP MP Ranil Wickremesinghe.

“We want to refer to the agreement before making an official statement on the issue,” Wickremesinghe added.
