FTSE Russell is a subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group has informed global investors that investing in listed equities of Sri Lanka is business as usual now on.
In update FTSE Russell said it received feedback from market participants that the repatriation issue for Sri Lanka no longer exists and all the backlogs have been cleared, therefore all corporate actions/events and review changes for Sri Lanka will be implemented as normal with immediate effect.
FTSE Russell maintains, licences, and markets stock market indices. The division is notable for FTSE 100 Index, Russell 2000 Index, among other indices.
FTSE Russell latest update concerning the Treatment in FTSE Russell Equity Indices’ was a follow up to its notification published on 17 November 2022 covering Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Sri Lanka.
