Ellawala to retire at CW Mackie, Hemaka to take over

C.W. Mackie PLC Chairman and CEO Veteran W.T. Ellawala will retire as with the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting for the year scheduled for June/July.

Deputy Chairman H.D.S. Amarasuriya will take over as Chairman/CEO.

Ellawala has been a Director on CW Mackie Board since 24 November 1995 and Chairman/CEO since July 2002.

Amarasuriya has been a Director since February 2011.

Lankem Ceylon and connected parties own over 51% stake in CW Mackie whilst Senthilverl Holdings owns 24%.

The rest of the CW Mackie Board members are C.R. Ranasinghe, A.M. De S Jayarathne, A. Rajaratnam, S.D.R. Arudpragasam, T. Senthiverl, K.T.A.M. Perera, S. Rajaratnam, and A. Hettiarachchy.
