Debate on Interim Report extended

The debate on the Steering Committee’s Interim Report on constitutional proposals has been extended by a day. 

Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella announced that the debate would continue today (2), after Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said several MPs were not granted time to express their views. 

Accordingly the debate on the Interim Report will recommence from 10.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. today.
