Daily FT and Sri Lanka Institute of Directors in partnership with ACCA will host a webinar titled ‘How the pandemic has changed the ways CEOs must lead’ today at 5 p.m.
The webinar will be aired on the FB pages of ACCA , SLID, Great place to Work and the FT.
SLID said: “The disruptions caused by the pandemic are forcing all CEOs to respond to new ways of working. Supply chain disruptions, empty shelves, shuttered restaurants, travel bans, mandatory remote work, whiplashing markets, rising case counts, redundant skills – this is the new norm for the near future. The most successful leaders will adjust, constantly revector when faced with change, and do so faster.” In that context the webinar will examine the many challenges face leaders as they move forward to the post pandemic world of business. The keynote will be delivered by British American Tobacco (BAT) in Sri Lanka, Caucasus, the Caribbean and Central America former CEO Felicio Ferraz.
Panelists will be PT Nestle and PT Wyeth Nutrition Indonesia Director Sashi Thomas, Unilever Sri Lanka Chairperson Hajar Alafifi and Great Place to Work CEO Kshanika Rathnayake. SLID CEO Forum Chairman Rolf Blazer who is the CEO Baur & Co will chair the session and the panel discussion will be moderated by SLID Vice Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody.
