Chevron Lubricants Lanka has received three Government projects to supply to three power stations and Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), the Government Information Department said.
Releasing a list of the Cabinet papers passed at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the Government Information Department said the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Power and Energy Minister Ravi Karunanayake to award the contract of supplying 750,000 litres of cylinder lubricants and l-75,000 system lubricants needed by the barge-mounted power station for 2019 to M/s Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved a proposal presented by Karunanayake to award the contract of supplying 800,000 litres of Taro 40 XL 40 Lubricants for the Pielstick power station at Sapugaskanda and 300,000 litres Taro 40 XL 40 Lubricants for Sapugaskanda MAN Power Station to M/s Chevron Lubricants Lanka.
The Cabinet approved a proposal presented by Transport Minister Arjuna Ranatunga to award the contract of supplying oil and lubricants for Sri Lanka Transport Board Buses to M/S Lanka IOC PLC, Chevron Lubricant Lanka PLC and McLarens Lubricants Ltd. upon the recommendations of the appointed Standing Procurement Committee.
