CSE’s 2018 debutant Jetwing Symphony to trade today

Colombo Stock Exchange’s first listing of the New Year, Jetwing Symphony Ltd, will trade today following its successful Initial Public Offering. 

The debut trading of family-owned Jetwing Symphony will also mark a special market opening ceremony of the CSE today. 

The company’s Rs. 750 million IPO entailing 50.22 million shares last month drew 346 applications worth Rs. 788.2 million. The IPO of 10% stake was based on a formal book-building process with a price band ranging from Rs. 15-18. 

Jetwing Symphony is the investment arm of the Jetwing leisure and travel group. The IPO funds will be utilised to complete Jetwing Symphony’s projects in the pipeline and settle debt payments.
