AG sends clarification note to Singaporean counterpart on Mahendran extradition request

Note sent after talks between two sides
Extradition request still under consideration

Attorney General Dappula de Livera yesterday submitted a note of clarification to the AG of Singapore pertaining to the extradition request of Central Bank former Governor Arjun Mahendran. The written clarification was submitted following discussions between the two, an official of the AG’s Department said.

She added that the request is still under consideration in Singapore.
