Top professional and business woman leaders last week shared their expectations from and recommendations for 2019 Budget during the first-of-its-kind forum last week organised by Daily FT and Colombo University MBA Alumni Association.

It was in recognition of the important role played by women and giving them an opportunity to be part of policy formulation. The 26 women leaders shared a host of new ideas.

It was the eighth consecutive annual pre-Budget forum organised by the Daily FT-Colombo University MBAAA in strategic partnership with Standard Chartered Bank. State Minister of Finance Eran Wickramaratne was the Chief Guest. Daily FT will publish the full proceedings tomorrow
