8th Ease of Doing Business Forum today

The Ministry of Finance will be holding the eighth forum of the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ today (14 June) at 2 p.m. at the 4th Floor Auditorium of MILODA, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo 1. 

Since May 2015, the Ministry of Finance has held seven forums and the eighth forum is scheduled to be held today. The Forum will be chaired by Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake. Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Arjuna Mahendran and Secretary to the Treasury Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga will also be present to provide the expertise for resolving issues at the Forum.

This forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues and facilitate in finding on-the-spot solutions to uplift the doing-business environment in Sri Lanka. 

The Ministry of Finance cordially invites the private sector establishments and the general public to partake in this forum.
