22-member committee to advise Harin on tourism

Tourism Minister Harin Fernando

Tourism Minister Harin Fernando has appointed a 22-member committee to provide advisory on the way forward as well as connected issues.

The committee includes four ex-officio members who are the Heads of the State institutions – Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority Priantha Fernando, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau Chalaka Gajabahu, the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management Shirantha Peiris and SriLankan Airlines CEO Richard Nuttal.

The other members of the committee include Hiran Cooray, Angeline Ondaatje, Rohan Abeywickrama, Maahen Kariyawasam, Prof. Raj Somadeva, Buddika Hewawasam, Dr. Nirmal De Silva, Dr. P. Tharanga, Kishu Gomes, Suresh Rajendra, Aritha Wickramasinghe, Chandani Wilson, Harsha Panduka Keerthinanda, Dharshana Tharanga, Nirosh Gunawardena, Chandrasiri Jayalath, Upali Dias and Prasad Ranasinghe.
