As the cry of the koha heralds the dawning of another Avurudu season, HSBC looks forward to an exciting time of rewarding customers. The bank announced its latest campaign ‘Leave the ‘Kana’ out this Avurudu,’ which offers customers an opportunity to celebrate by earning up to 25,000 rewards points along with valuable savings, when they shop from 20 March until 30 April 2013.
Understanding that Avurudu is a time for celebrating with family and friends, HSBC customers will be happy to know that for every Rs. 1,000 they spend, be it online transactions, 0% instalment plans, local and overseas retail transactions or any other, the bank will continue to reward them. The promotion is applicable for all HSBC primary and supplementary credit cardholders.
Accordingly, the first 1,000 eligible cardholders who use their credit card for a minimum of Rs. 1,000 daily for up to 25 days during the promotion period will be eligible to receive 25,000 rewards points in return. These could be redeemed at a number of merchant partner outlets around the country.
The next 2,000 customers will be rewarded with 10,000 bonus points upon using their credit card for the same period, meeting the required criteria. As part of the eligibility criteria, each customer will be allowed up to a maximum of 10 multiple transactions under a single merchant category (e.g. supermarket).
Cardholders can benefit from the many savings in the most essential categories including, daily essentials, shopping, dining and lodging, travel and leisure, and fuel, leading up to Avurudu and beyond.
“As we welcome another Avurudu, we want our customers to truly enjoy the season without compromising on what they need most. We are happy to offer continuous rewards and offer cardholders the flexibility to spend both locally and overseas with essential savings at a wide range of outlets. The celebrations don’t just stop at Avurudu but go beyond as cardholders can redeem their rewards points to fulfil their many lifestyle needs,” stated Nilantha Bastian, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC.
The bank also announced it will hold its popular semi-annual sale at Vogue Jewellers, offering cardholders a saving of up to 50% on gold/white gold jewellery from 5-7 April 2013.
In addition, cardholders can enjoy savings and 0% interest free instalment plans when they purchase much-needed household goods and electronics from Abans showrooms.
