Union Bank launches new savings promotion

With the objective of rewarding customers who save with Union Bank, the Bank announced the launched of a new saving promotion that offers a range of attractive gifts. The promotion is applicable for the Bank’s savings accounts Ultra Saver, Regular Savings accounts and the women’s savings account Ruweththi. In addition to the attractive gift offer, customers also receive up to 7.5% p.a. interest on their savings, which is the

highest rate offered by any commercial bank in Sri Lanka. The promotion is valid up to 31st December 2013. The gift scheme is applicable for new and existing customers who make deposits over Rs. 10,000. A customer who makes a deposit between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000 will receive an attractive Lunch Bag, deposits between Rs. 25,001 and Rs. 50,000 will receive a branded wall clock and deposits of Rs. 50,000 and above will receive a travelling bag. The complete range of gifts will be offered for deposits of Rs. 100,000 and above. This new saving promotion is available through the 40 Union Bank branches across the country.
