Stefan appointed Asia Capital CEO

Stefan Andrew Abeyesinhe has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Capital Plc.

Previously he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. The decision to promote him was taken by Asia Capital Board at its meeting on Thursday.

He was first appointed to the Board in November last year. Stefan pursued his higher studies in both the US and UK after which he worked in financial markets in London. On his return to Sri Lanka he worked for PricwaterhouseCoopers and Pradana Ltd., a boutique investment prior to joking Asia Capital Plc in June 2009.
