The honour of bearing the National Flag of Sri Lanka was bestowed on G.T. Senarathna, a member of the Sri Lanka Insurance Team. Sri Lanka Insurance was also able to produce two members – R.H. Noor and W.T.R.F. Malalanayake – to the prestigious ‘Court of the Table’ forum this year.

The MDRT groups together the cream of insurance advisors globally – in order to qualify to the MDRT, Sri Lankan advisors have achieved a premium production of Rs. 4.186 million for MDRT membership, Rs. 12.558 million for ‘Court of the Table’ and Rs. 25.116 million for ‘Top of the Table ‘membership within the year 2012.
It is the most innovative and prestigious business forum in the financial services profession, attracting nearly 4,000 attendees from around the world. Founded in 1927 this event every year gathers the world’s top sales achievers, to share their sales experiences with each other.
The conference also provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge on sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards. In addition to enhancing the participant’s career through the shared expertise of main platform speakers the forum also facilitates focus sessions and exhibitions.
