A seminar on proposed amendments to the CSE Listing Rules and its implications to the Capital Market will be held on 24 May at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The CSE is in the process of revising its Listing Rules, with a view to further strengthen the enforcement action applicable for non-compliance with the following continuous Listing Requirements: Corporate Governance; Timelines for submission of interim financial statements and annual report; Submission of audited financial statements containing modified audit opinions and emphasis of matter on going concern; Related Party Transactions; and Minimum Public Holding requirements.
The proposed Listing Rules will have far reaching implications to listed companies. This seminar will address implications to ensure strict compliance by listed entities and also to make the stock market more vibrant and dynamic.
The speakers at the seminar are Rajeeva Bandaranaike, CEO, Colombo Stock Exchange and Dr. Dayanath Jayasuriya P.C. Former Chairman, Presidents Committee of the International Organisation of Securities Commission (IOSCO), Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka and Insurance Board of Sri Lanka.
