SDB opens 87th new branch at Ekala

SANASA Development Bank PLC (SDB) opened its new branch at Ekala on 21 December.

SDB Ekala Branch was opened at No. 46, Orex City Shopping Complex, Ekala with the objective of providing more efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities.

SANASA Development Bank is a public quoted company with limited liability incorporated under the Companies Act 17 of 1982, re-registered under Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 and registered as a licensed specialised bank by Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Banking Act No. 30 of 1988, operating with a branch network of 87 branches all over the country.

SDB has introduced a variety of banking products and services with a vast coverage of customers, from newly born babies to all categories of senior citizens.

Those products and services comes under different brand names of ‘LakDaru’ Children’s Savings, ‘Jawaya’,  ‘Uththamavee’, ‘Upahara’, ‘Dashaka’, ‘SDB Aayojana’, ‘Swarnakirana’, ‘Ranmini’ Pawning Services, SDB Leasing, SME Plus, etc, introduced for the convenience of the bank’s customers..

The Ekala branch was ceremonially opened by SDB Chairperson Samadanie Kiriwandeniya with the participation of SDB Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Nimal C. Hapuarachchi and SDB Chief Operating Officer Kumar Mayadunne along with the top management officers from SDB. Members of the Ekala United Traders Association and public and private sector organisations also participated.

Further SDB Director Thilak Rajapaksha, SANASA District Union & GDC Chairman Lalitha Jayasooriya, Gampaha CRB Chairman Sarath Keerithirathne, Victor Antonypillai with a team of representatives of IFC also graced this occasion.

SDB Ekala is led by Nishan Pallegama.
