Standard Chartered Bank’s Regional Head of Learning & Talent Development for India/South Asia, Neelmani Singh, was on a visit to the Colombo office to launch a series of programs during its annual “Learning Week.”
During his recent visit to SCB Sri Lanka, Neelmani specifically focused on developmental training sessions rolled out by the Group. Neelmani is a passionate and knowledgeable trainer and the participants found his sessions on re-thinking development, focusing on an employee’s future and a video-based interactive learning session on management, both informative and great tools to growing talent and enhancing performance within the organisation.
The Bank’s “Learning Week” which runs from the 4th to the 15th October is designed to drive employees’ development, expand leadership capabilities, and enable employees to achieve their maximum potential with the aim of grooming them to meet future challenges. The overall program also includes soft skills training sessions such as social and telephone etiquette which will be conducted by professional trainers.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Neelmani Singh was with Microsoft, where he was the Lead - People and Organization Capability (POC) and was responsible for managing Leadership Development, Learning, Talent Development and Organization Development (OD). He holds a Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences and a Pre-Doctoral (M.Phil) in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, Bangalore. His professional specialization lies in the areas of Organizational Behavior, OD, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Leadership Development. He is also a Master Trainer, a certified practitioner in various areas of Learning and Development, Management Development, OD, Talent Management and Leadership Development.
