Sampath Bank opens branch in Weligama

While Sampath Bank celebrated its silver jubilee with 25 years of truly Sri Lanka banking, it was a historical day for the Weligama branch and the city. The residents of Weligama can now experience modern banking conveniences and range of banking products and services from the branch.

The 209th branch was declared open at the auspicious time on 26 February at No. 253 Matara Road Weligama. The opening ceremony was attended by Sampath Bank Managing Director Aravinda Perera as Chief Guest and other senior bank officials. Here, Perera together with Group Director and Chief Financial Officer Ranjith Samaranayake and Manager of the branch Chanaka Wickramaratne cut the ribbon at the auspicious moment of the opening
