‘Rata Salli Vasana’ draw to mark People’s Bank Golden Jubilee

In commemorating the 50th Anniversary of People’s Bank, the ‘Rata Salli Vasana’ draw, carried out by the Overseas Customer Service Unit of People’s Bank was held recently at the People’s Bank Staff Training College Auditorium.

The Final Draw of ‘Rata Salli Vasana’ offers Rs. 1 million as the first prize, Rs.500,000/- as the second prize and Rs. 250,000/- as the third prize. People who received foreign currency via People’s Bank e-Remittance, Swift or Telex qualified for the draw. Previously, in the Rata Salli Vasana monthly draw, Rs.25,000/- per month and a mobile phone on every working day were offered.

Peoples’ Bank Chief Executive Officer and General Manger N. Vasantha Kumar carried out the ‘Rata Salli Vasana Draw’. The draw was held in the presence of a special panel of judges while it was attended by the General Manager of Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, H. Batagoda,  Additional Secretary (External Affairs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs W.H. Senevirathne and People’s Bank Corporate & Executive Management as well as a large number of customers.
