People’s Bank Tangalle branch commences Avurudu ganu-denu with the President

The People’s Bank opened its doors for Avurudu ganu-denu for the first time in 1973. In keeping with the traditions, this New Year, all the People’s Bank branches were opened on Sunday 14 April for carrying out the traditional Avurudu ganu-denu transactions of its customers.

The People’s Bank Tangalle branch set off the Avurudu ganu-denu with the patronage of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

People’s Bank Director Dr. D. J. D. Jayakody, CEO/GM N. Vasantha Kumar, Deputy General Manager Chandani Werapitiya, Deputy General Manager Boniface Silva, Regional Manager of People’s Bank Hambantota R. M. Ariyasena and the Assistant Regional Manager Hambantota J. A. Amarasiri graced the occasion along with the bank’s employees and the customers.
