People’s Bank holds Commercial Credit & SME Achievers Awards Ceremony

The Commercial Credit and Small and Medium Enterprises Department of People’s Bank recently held its Achievers Awards 2014 with much pomp and pageantry at The Sands Hotel, Waskaduwa.

This event was held by People’s Bank in recognition of the contribution of regional officials who had performed exceptionally well in promoting small and medium-scale, personal and businesses loans. Regional Award for the Best Performance in Personal Loans was clinched by the Matale Region whilst Regional Award for the Best Performance in Business Loans was bagged by the Polonnaruwa Region. Award for the Highest Loan Target achieved within the SME segment was clinched by the Vanni Region whilst Gampaha Region bagged the Award for the Largest Loan Portfolio to be accomplished within the SME segment.

Singing and other recreational items performed by the members of staff of the People’s Bank added much fun and frolic to the event and spiced up the evening.

Samaraweera, Deputy General Manager (Operations) Boniface Silva and a large gathering of the management and staff of People’s Bank participated at the event.
