Pan Asia opens in Badulla

Pan Asia Bank further expanded its branch network on 5 May 2011 with the opening of its 45th branch in Badulla, at No. 22 A, Bank Road (Lower King’s Street) Badulla.

Chief Guest Mayor of Badulla, Upali Nissanka Gunasekara is declaring open the branch. Guest of honour M.A.S. Silva Additional District Secretary Badulla and Chairman of Pan Asia Bank, A. G. Weerasinghe are also present

The inauguration of the new branch was marked by the Chief Guest, Upali Nissanka Gunasekara Mayor of Badulla and guest of honor M.A.S. Silva Additional District Secretary Badulla.

 Listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange and in operation for 15 years, it offers a full range of retail and business banking products and services.

Pan Asia Bank has recorded a very successful first quarter in 2011 with a net profit after tax of Rs.196 mn. which is 190% better than the 2010 corresponding period .The bank has already opened four branches within the year, and will continue its vigorous expansion drive with a view of achieving 25 new branches in 2011.

Pan Asia Bank takes pride in its customer centric focus and will be offering a highly personalised service, competitive deposit and loan rates and an array of novel banking products including champion saver account with a very attractive interest of 8% for a savings account, three types of minor savings accounts, Pawning with the highest advance amount up to Rs. 41,000 per sovereign, and leasing at the lowest market rate down to 1%.

Pan Asia Bank Badulla branch is headed by Aruna Dasawatte.  The branch will be opened from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
