Pan Asia Bank further expanded its branch network on 4 August 2011 with the opening of its 53rd branch at No. 155/1, Tissa Road, Ambalanthota. The new branch was declared open by the Chief Guest Hambantota District MP V.K. Indika, the Guests of Honour Chairman of the Hambantota District Pradeshiya Sabha Gamini Gunaratne and Pan Asia Bank Chairman A.G. Weerasinghe.
The opening ceremony was attended by Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce Director General Azmi Thassim, HDCC Chairman Kumara Jayasinghe, customers in the area and other distinguished guests and well-wishers. Pan Asia Bank’s Ambalanthota branch is headed by Hiran Hettiarachchi. The branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
