Orient Wealth Ltd. has extended its services to Kalutara by opening a sales point at the Janashakthi office building located at 338/1/1, Galle Road, Kalutara South, recently for the benefit of the people in the area.
Lucky Gamage, Head of Retail Sales of Orient Wealth officially opened the unit and accepted applications from investors in the area. Many residents from Kalutara were present at the function and graced the occasion.
As an innovative licensed unit trust manager, Orient Wealth offers a range of products to suit the needs of investors to meet their personal financial objectives. The Orient Child Education Plan and Orient Retirement Saving Plan provide many options to save while taking into account capital market risks associated with different investment opportunities and investors’ risk appetite.
Moreover, investors who would like to invest directly in Treasury securities, corporate debt securities, and in a selected set of equities listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange can do that via Orient General Plans.
Investors can request wealth planners attached to the company to visit them, explain and suggest them suitable investment schemes to fulfil their needs. The investors’ money is held under the custody of Deutsche Bank, Colombo branch, who is the Trustee and Custodian of the unit trust funds managed by Orient Wealth.
“Orient Wealth’s prime objective is to introduce capital market opportunities to small time investors through the unit trust concept, which will enhance their wealth more than the traditional banking products that are vulnerable to any adverse effects of the inflation,” stated Gamage, who has been in the insurance and financial services industries in many capacities over the past 15 years.
