Nations Trust Bank is expanding rapidly and whilst taking 365day banking and extended banking hours across different geographies in the country the bank is also enhancing their existing branch network with more spacious branches and convenient locations. The refurbished Gampaha branch is now relocated at 112, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Gampaha and creates an ambience that is warm, friendly and modern.
Nations Trust Bank branch in Gampaha will continue to offer the residential and business communities customized propositions to suit their financial requirements. The Private Banking and Inner Circle Memberships, ‘Bank At Your Doorstep Service’, Personal Banking Centers at Keells Supermarkets, and‘Nations Business Centre’s are some of the key propositions launched in the market which has helped win over and maintain a strong and loyal customer base.
The bank has also embarked on services such as Remittances and Pawning across the branch network. Nations Trust Bank closed the quarter ending 31st March 2012, with a post tax profit of Rs. 406Mn surpassing the previous period by 8%. Current year quarter was driven by a noticeable growth in business volumes, modest growth in top line revenue and controlled growth in operating expenses. All business pillars contributed to PBT in equal measure resulting in a well balanced result. With the mandatory credit ceiling coming into effect, business portfolios were re-positioned to optimize returns in a controlled growth environment.
