National Savings Bank has yet again clinched the grand award as the best annual report produced by Sri Lanka in 2011 at the recently concluded International ARC Awards, popularly dubbed as the ‘Academy Awards of Annual Reports.’
NSB Annual Report 2011 also bagged the gold award for Non-Traditional Annual Report and Honours for the Chairman’s Letter at this prestigious awards ceremony held in New York.
International ARC Awards is the foremost global awards for annual reports and this year’s awards have attracted over 2,000 entries from 32 countries around the world. This is the third time NSB has been bestowed with the honour of producing Sri Lanka’s best annual report.
“NSB has always adhered to the world standards in producing its annual report as we believe that the annual report is the single most important tool available to us to convey our past activities as well as future plans in a transparent manner to our stakeholders.
“It is in this sense that we value these international accolades as they stand testimony to our hard work and dedication to bring forth an annual report of the highest standards,” said Hennayake.
