The official CSE website, www.cse.lk, was re-launched recently, as part of CSE’s efforts to improve the process of information dissemination. The CSE website provides access to a wide array of information such as real-time market data, corporate disclosures and company financial reports.
A key feature of the new website is the access to key information in Sinhala, Tamil and English, whilst navigation to information such as details of stockbrokers, CSE Rules and Publications have been made easier.
In keeping with CSE’s endeavours to educate investors, both existing and potential, a feature named, ‘CSE Education’ has been added with CSE presentations and CSE publications on key topics relevant to investing in the stock market. The investors who are interested in attending workshops, conducted by CSE, can register for upcoming workshops and make their payments online.
The MyCSE feature is a customised feature, which allows the subscribers, access to historical information, detailed charts and other additional data, which is useful in making informed investment decisions. The subscribers have the option of choosing either the Gold or Silver package, depending on the information requirement of the subscriber.
The CSE website had 12,596,763 page views from 1 January to 31 August (Source: Google Analytics).
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) operates the only share market in Sri Lanka and is responsible for providing a transparent and regulated environment where companies and investors can come together. The CSE is a company that is limited by guarantee established under the Laws of Sri Lanka. The CSE is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and is a mutual exchange consisting of 15 Members and 14 Trading Members. All Members and Trading Members are licensed by the SEC to operate as Stockbrokers.
