NDB in vigorous expansion; opens 74th branch in Nikaweratiya

NDB opened its latest branch in Nikaweratiya in a bid to support the economic and livelihood development in the area. With this opening, NDB branch network has now expanded to 74, signalling a steady continuation of the bank’s aggressive expansion strategy. Nikaweratiya is nourished by a rich agrarian economy thriving on an opulent produce of rice. While farming remains the key livelihood of its people; the growing industrial and commercial activity in the area indicates potential for increased entrepreneurial ventures and rapid economic growth. With the opening of its latest branch, NDB opened its doors to the aspiring entrepreneurs and businessmen in Nikaweratiya to benefit from the many customised SME financing facilities and advisory services.
