Nations Trust Bank (NTB) is paying tribute to the rich historic traditions surrounding the Avurudu festival by improving public awareness on the significance of the various ‘nekath’ (auspicious moments), engaging in ‘ganu-denu’ with the customers and by giving customers tokens of appreciation, reflecting the value of their relationship with the bank.

“As a bank with much respect for customs and traditions, Nations Trust Bank takes pleasure in improving public awareness of many fascinating aspects surrounding the festival and supporting our customers in celebrating various traditions such as engaging in ‘Avurudu ganu-denu’,” Nations Trust Bank Chief Marketing Officer Shaan Wickremesinghe said. “The New Year also presents an opportunity for us to deepen our engagement with customers and to show them our appreciation.”

Cooler bags or a travel bag will be given for deposits between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 50,000 in an existing or a new Savings Account. Deposits from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 million in Savings Accounts or in Fixed Deposits with a tenure of six months or more will be rewarded with wall clocks. A cooler box will be given for Fixed Deposits above Rs. 1 million with a tenure of six months or more.
