MTI CFO Forum – 2013 today

The MTI CFO Forum – 2013 will be held today, Monday 30 September, at the JAIC Hilton Colombo from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is organised MTI Corporate Finance, an international consultancy with over 500 client-specific assignments across 40 countries and extensive experience in corporate finance locally and internationally. This forum creates a platform that will discuss some of the challenges and opportunities experienced by the corporate finance function in Sri Lanka. The core presentation of the evening will be delivered by Hilmy Cader, CEO of MTI Consulting. The MTI CFO Survey 2013 results is the contribution and support of 100 Chief Financial Officers and 50 Chief Executive Officers in Sri Lanka and the forum discussion will be centred on the areas of the role of the CFO, economic impact, capital structuring and funding, mergers and acquisitions, working capital, cost management and risk and compliance. The eminent panel of experts providing their knowledge and experience to the discussion today will comprise Hasitha Premaratne, Chief Financial Officer – Brandix Lanka Ltd., Malinga Arsakularatne, Chief Financial Officer – Hemas Holdings PLC, Ramesh Jayasekara, Chief Financial Officer – Seylan Bank PLC, Sujeewa Mudalige, Markets Leader – Price water house Coopers, Sunjeevani Kotakadeniya, Chief Financial Officer, LOLC Group and Suresh Gooneratne, Director/CFO – Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC. The panel will be moderated by Mano Tittawella, Associate Consultant – MTI Corporate Finance. The Forum is endorsed by CA Sri Lanka and the event is enabled by ICICI Bank, the second largest bank in India which now looks at corporate banking in Sri Lanka.
