KPMG in Sri Lanka, a member firm of the KPMG network of independent member firms, yesterday announced the appointment of C.T. Kamaya N. Perera as a Principal of the firm.
Kamaya joined the firm in 2003 and by 2009 had risen to the position of Senior Manager responsible for the Financial Advisory Services function where she managed Transaction Services, Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions-related engagements for clients across varied sectors.
She was subsequently appointed a Director for Advisory with a focus on Supply Chain Consulting and Financial Management and also functions as the Director responsible for consulting services to the Government and public sector, assisting in large transformation projects in Sri Lanka.
Kamaya, who counts over 13 years of professional work experience, is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – UK, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Member of CPA - Australia. She holds a BSc. (Hons.) Degree in Business from the Manchester Metropolitan University – UK.
