Janashakthi felicitates sales force

Janashakthi Insurance honoured top achievers of its sales force at a ‘Las Vegas’ themed spectacular Annual Awards Excellence 2013, ceremony with overseas training, a spate air tickets to UK, USA, China, India, Bangkok, Dubai, Vietnam, Lavish cash prizes and trophies.

Janashakthi annual award ceremony is one of the most looked forward to and prestigious events of the company’s event calendar which rewards excellence amongst the high fliers from the sales force.

Speaking at the ceremony Janashakthi Managing Director Prakash Schaffter said: “Investing in our sales force and rewarding them for their excellent contribution to the company are among the top strategic priorities of Janashakthi. This annual event is part of our investments towards strengthening our human capital and 60 million is spent on in Human Resource Development.”

The highlight of the gala event was the Chairman’s award in which H.L.A. Harshana was recognised for an exemplary sales performance. True to the glamorous Las Vegas theme Harshana made a dramatic entrance in a stretch-line limousine, with motor decade and accompanying a fanfare bringing out the ‘work hard to play hard’ motto of the night.

K.K. Wijetunga, from the Kalutara branch won the Best Life Salesperson Award while Best Single Line Unit Leader Award went to Harshana, Head office life. M. Thangiah from the Mahawewa branch won the award for the Best Client Builder in Life Sales while G.S. Ruwan Kumara, Hatton branch claimed the Highest Contributor Award Life Sales.

K.M.S. Lakshman, Dehiattakandiya branch won the Best Life Business Promotion Sales Supervisor award while S. Arulnesam, Hatton branch became the Best Life Business Promotion Assistant for the year 2012. Best Life SNR\ Business Promotion Executive title went to G.W.A. Deshapriya from Galle and J.N.D. De Silva, Ambalangoda branch claimed the Est Life A\Business Promotion Manager award. D.K.P. Balasooriya, Kalutara branch claimed the Best Overall Life Team award.

In the team category, the Gampaha ADO office claimed the Best ADO title. In the General Insurance category, N.H.R.R. Nakandana, Colombo City branch won the Best Business Promotion Sales Supervisor award. S.S.R.M.Y.K. Wijesekara, Kandy branch won the Best Business Promotion Assistant, K.D.S. Udesh, Colombo City Office won the  Best Business Promotion Officer award while K.H.T. Ariyawansa, Colombo Metro Office claimed the Best SNR\Business Promotion Executive award.

D.J. Piyadasa, Colombo Central office won the Star Category award while S.A.K.R.S. Thilanka, Colombo North office entered the Hall of Fame for his contribution to the company. N.C.S. De Silva, Kalutara branch won the Best Portfolio Manager award (silver) in the Life Insurance category while Y.G.P.K. Yatawara, Colombo North office won the Best Sales Manager/Portfolio Manager awards in the General Insurance category.

M.S. Sampan, Colombo North region won the Best Regional Sales Manager award in the General Insurance category.
