Insurance Board celebrates its first decade

The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL) organised a pirith chanting ceremony at the Secretariat on 11 May 2011 to celebrate the 2600th Commemoration of Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi and the 10th Anniversary of the Board’s incorporation followed by an almsgiving ceremony at the Gangaramaya Temple on 12 May 2011.

The Chairperson of the IBSL, Indrani Sugathadasa, Secretary to the President, Lalith Weeratunga, Members of the Board, Staff and the Heads of Insurance Companies, Insurance Broking Companies and others participated in this event, which invoked blessings on the country and all Sri Lankans including the staff of the IBSL and stakeholders of the insurance industry
