Jason Tan, HSBC’s Head of Client Management – Global Payments and Cash Management in Asia Pacific, arrived yesterday, on a two-day official visit.
Tan, who is responsible for the development of HSBC’s Client Management platform across Asia Pacific, will meet Nick Nicolaou, Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Sri Lanka and Maldives, key customers and the Global Payments and Cash Management team to review its local business operations.
Prior to taking up his current position, Jason served as Head of Global Payments and Cash Management in Malaysia, where he led the Malaysian franchise.
Tan has held several roles in Channel Management for Retail Banking, Customer Relationship Management, Internet Banking and Online Content Management, before moving into the Cash Management arena.
Most recently, he served as Head of Product Management for Global Payments and Cash Management in Thailand and Head of Sales for Global Payments and Cash Management in Malaysia. The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited is the founding and a principal member of the HSBC Group which serves around 89 million customers through four global businesses: Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Private Banking.
