Simon Constantinides, Head of HSBC’s Trade and Supply Chain business in Asia Pacific, will arrive in the country on Thursday, 10 March, on a two day visit.
During his official visit, he will meet with Nick Nicolaou, Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Sri Lanka and the Maldives, senior management of the bank and key customers.
In his current role, Constantinides is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s trade and supply chain franchise across 16 markets in Asia Pacific and South Africa, to which he brings a wealth of experience in strategic management and leadership.
Prior to his relocation to Hong Kong, Simon held several positions within HSBC Bank USA, N.A. including Head of Supply Chain Business for North America.
Most recently, he served as Head of Sales, Trade and Supply Chain, USA where he was instrumental in cementing HSBC’s trade and supply chain proposition in that market.
With a banking career spanning more than 20 years, Constantinides has focused the last 15 years of his career marketing and building trade and financial supply chain management solutions targeting upper middle market and corporate retailers, branded apparel and consumer products companies as well as developing trade ecommerce and supply chain solutions.
Constantinides has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Hartwick College, USA.
