HSBC recently celebrated its third year anniversary in Jaffna, having established its presence in the North in 2010. With post war development taking shape rapidly, the peninsula has soon become a tourist spot for locals and foreigners and HSBC’s presence has enabled convenient banking for both, the growing customer base in Jaffna and visitors.
The day also marked the celebration of customers who joined HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance for the first time. They were each presented with a welcome token by the Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Nilantha Bastian.
In its short span of operation, HSBC Jaffna has introduced global propositions such as HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance and to connect the Diaspora through international banking. Customers who sign up for these products during 11 February to 31 March 2013 are entitled to special anniversary mementos.

Joining staff and senior management in their CS efforts on the day were several of HSBC’s inaugural customers.
