Hatton National Bank opened the 206th Customer Centre in Kinniya recently which is the 17th HNB Customer Centre in the Eastern Province.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Nilam U. Jumat Assistant General Manager (Trade Services) of Hatton National Bank and the Guest of Honour was M. M. Mubarack, Divisional Secretary, Kinniya. A. V. Beadle – Senior Manager Eastern Region also represented the bank at the event. A large number of senior bank officials, government officials, local businessmen and customers were present at the event.
Speaking at the event Nilam U. Jumat, Assistant General Manager (Trade Services) said that at present Kinniya is privileged with the longest concrete bridge in the country which is 396 metre, long which will be the main gateway to Batticaloa. At present many development activities are initiated on an accelerated pace in the area which will benefit the people of Kinniya. He said that HNB will partner the people of Kinniya by providing them a range of financial services ranging from personal banking products to small and medium sector loans, Gami Pubuduwa MicroFinance loans etc.
