HDFC holds credit camp for SMEs in Galle

The Galle branch of HDFC Bank in association with the Southern Regional Office of Central Bank of Sri Lanka conducted a credit camp for SMEs recently. This special program which was organised as a part of the bank’s drive to promote the SME sector was held in the Galle District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) auditorium.

CBSL Southern Province Regional Manager Upali Hettiarachchi made the members aware on identification of new projects, entering new business opportunities, market access, financial management, credit management and employer-employee relationship. Subsequently, the necessary guidelines were provided to the entrepreneurs who are in need of credit facilities.

CBSL Southern Regional Office Manager (Development) S.S. Wanniarachchi, HDFC Bank Regional Manager N.C. Ranjith and Manager Micro Finance Anura Dissanayake, HDFC Galle branch Manager Tharangi Somathilake and other staff of the bank also participated.
