Commercial Bank launches 365-day banking in Kurunegala

Commercial Bank has launched a 365-day banking service in Kurunegala for the convenience of residents and visitors to this commercial hub.

The Bank’s main branch located at No. 4, Suratissa Mawatha, Kurunegala now offers extended banking hours to customers from 9.00 a.m. to 3. 00 p.m. on weekdays and from 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on weekends and statutory holidays, the bank said. A spokesperson for the bank said that this service would also benefit the growing number of recipients of Commercials Bank’s ‘e-Exchange’ and MoneyGram instant money transfers in the Kurunegala area.  The Kurunegala branch is equipped with all facilities available at other Commercial Bank branches and is computer-linked to all branches and service points of the Bank islandwide, enabling online real-time banking.

Commercial Bank operates a network of 205 computer-linked service points in Sri Lanka including eight other 365-day banking centres and 29 supermarket banking counters and owns the country’s single largest ATM network of 452 terminals.
