The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries – CNCI has organised a half day seminar on ‘RAMIS’ to be conducted on 5 April from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Rajabojun Seminar Hall at Liberty Arcade, (at Liberty Plaza Complex) No 282, R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 03.
‘The Revenue Administration Management Information System’ (RAMIS) is a new system introduced by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) which will be implemented with effect from 1 January. This is an automated tax administration process and will be a more efficient system to create a good tax environment in the country. The main purpose of organising this awareness program is to make the staff concerned of the private sector companies aware of the RAMIS-automated system, which will be in application from 1 April.
The program will be conducted by Department of Inland Revenue Commissioner General Kalyani Dahanayake and a team consisting of senior commissioners of the Inland Revenue Department who are highly skilled in training and have years of experience in the areas of revenue administration.
This program is ideal for those who are involved in finance, administration and management in organisations. They have arranged presentations and a panel discussion followed by a Q & A session, where the participants will have an ample opportunity to clear any doubts and seek clarifications on any issues on the subject. Please contact 2339200 or 2452181 Chamber Secretariat for registration and further details.
