How Sri Lankan businesses can latch on to the opportunities presented by ‘Fintech’ or financial technologies will be discussed by a set of leading experts at the upcoming ‘Future of Business – Innovation Strategy and Learning Event’ organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
The session, titled ‘FinTech: Disruption + Inclusion’, will explore emerging developments in this sector, that are transforming consumer and business financial services including blockchain, mobile payments, and digital banking. The two lead presenters are Jan Metsger of Citibank in Hong Kong and Niki Ariyasinghe of R3 in Australia, followed by presentations from Rakhil Fernando of Kashmi, Reesa Sarook of Rukula and Sujith Subasinghe of Payable.
The speakers will specifically touch on how Fintech is revolutionising the banking system and customer experiences, as well as new B2B and B2C digital payments systems.
The 24 March event, to be held at the Hilton Colombo Residences will enable participants to learn how to drive innovation in their organisations, dissect what changes are happening now, what are on the horizon, and how their company can adapt to face the future.
