CAB holds AGM

Recently, the Clearing Association of Bankers (CAB) held its fourth Annual General Meeting at the Grand Oriental Hotel – Lotus Ballroom. This special event was graced by Ananda Silva, Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Ranee Jayamaha, Chairperson of Hatton National Bank, Lanka Clear officials, chief operating officers, deputy general managers, heads of clearing departments of all commercial banks, the members of CAB and other distinguished guests. This association was formed with the objective of “enhancing the knowledge of bankers as well as to promote the goodwill, understanding and fellowship among bankers engaged in clearing and central operation functions”.Halin Hettigoda of Sampath Bank Plc was elected as the President.
