Two leading professional bodies came together recently to take a closer look at Sri Lanka’s booming capital market. At an evening seminar organised recently by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) together with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) the topic of mutual funds, identified as the new frontier of investments for Sri Lanka was given much needed attention by a pool of well-versed experts who boosted the interactive session by sharing their insights to a houseful audience from the accounting, banking and financial sectors.
