BOC won the merit award for Annual Report 2015 under state owned enterprises category at the Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards – 2016 conducted on 11 July by Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka to coincide with the CMA National Management Accounting Conference.
The award ceremony was conducted with the aim of promoting the adoption of Integrated Reporting and enhancing the quality of corporate reporting in Sri Lanka. As a leading bank in the country, Bank of Ceylon always strives to step forward with the novel global initiatives. In 2015 they issued their third integrated Annual Report in line with guidelines of International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) which was recognised at the CMA Awards 2016.
This is the second time CMA conducted this award competition and the 10 best integrated reports and the overall winners were selected by a panel of five local and foreign judges.
