The Association of Professional Bankers (APB) – Sri Lanka has organised an evening seminar on a timely topic ‘The proposed Budget for 2016 and its impact on the economy in general, and the Banking Industry in particular’.
Theseminar will be held today, 2 December, at the HNB TowersAuditorium (22nd floor), T.B. Jaya Mawatha, Colombo 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Three eminent speakers specialized in different professions, Dr. Anura Ekanayake, Economist and a past Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Sulaiman Nishtar, Partner Ernest &Young, and Jonathan Alles, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, HNB will participate at this seminar. Speakers will talk on different perspectives of the budget proposals and how they would impact on the banking industry.
The seminar will be followed by a Question & Answer session. This is the only post-Budget seminar organised for banking professionals, hence participation would immensely benefit the APB members and other banking professionals.
