AMEX card spreads financial freedom

American Express Cards has partnered with Sri Lanka’s leading consumer electronics retailers Abans, Singer and Softlogic to provide its card members with the best price in store when purchasing any consumer electronic or furniture item on 60-month instalment scheme.

The promotion, which was launched on 3 August and will run till 16 August 2011, is available to all American Express Cards issued by Nations Trust Bank excluding corporate cards.

American Express Cards Deputy General Manager Priyantha Talwatte commenting on the promotion stated: “We have designed this unique value addition to provide our card members with the financial flexibility to purchase very high priced electronic items today and spread their financial commitment over a 60 month period with no additional interest being charged.

Card members will also receive a special discounted rate on the item being purchased making it the best price available to the card member for a specific item within a partner outlet.

 It’s a dual benefit which we hope our card members will make use of during the promotional period.”

Card members interested in availing this offer can visit any Abans Elite, Abans Retail, Singer Mega, Singer plus, Sisil World, Singer Homes, Softlogic Maz, Lifestyle Home Store or Softlogic Store and purchase a consumer electronic or furniture item of their choice over the value of Rs. 10,000.
