Amãna Bank facilitates IFN Roadshow in Sri Lanka for second consecutive year

The world renowned Islamic Finance News (IFN) Roadshow will hit the shores of Sri Lanka for the second consecutive year, bringing together the country’s Islamic Finance industry and its key regulatory stakeholders to one forum to discuss the issues, challenges and future potential of the industry. Having pioneered the concept of Islamic banking in Sri Lanka, Amãna Bank has partnered with the Malaysia based RedMoney Group to bring the IFN Roadshow to Sri Lanka once again. The Roadshow is scheduled to take place on 29 August 2013 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo with the participation of delegates scholars, industry experts, practitioners and others from Sri Lanka and overseas. The Chief Guest at the event will be the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Mr Ajith Nivard Cabraal. Other key officials of the Central Bank will also participate in the various panel discussions at this conference. In addition to Sri Lanka the IFN Roadshow will visit 13 key markets in 2013 such as Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Singapore, Australia, Thailand and Brunei.
